I left my…in San Francisco

CRW_0121.CRW

Actually, to my own amazement, I don’t think I left anything behind. But I did have a great time visiting that most civilized of cities last week. Here is a gallery of shots, scenic and otherwise, I shot while there. My base of operations was the lovely Hotel Vitale on the Embarcadero, with my room overlooking the Bay Bridge. The weather was cool (mid-60s), and the fog came and went, adding to the experience. As I noted to my fellow Atlanta-bound travellers as we entered SFO when leaving, that’s the last time I’m likely to feel those sorts of temps at midday until October or so at home.

Savannah in Summary

Spotlight on the Stairs

Although I blogged about our trip to Savannah while we were there (twice, actually), I wanted to highlight some other photos I’ve just managed to get around to posting – there are some good ones of the little guy in there. As you can see above, Sam LOVES the stairs at my Mom’s place, and wasn’t happy unless he was crawling up and down them. I’ll be on the road in San Francisco for the next few days, but hope to post some images if I find anything to shoot between meetings. Full photo gallery of the Savannah visit is here.

Seems like a Dream…

Blue Room

Quick trip to NYC for one night this week – stayed close to Columbus Circle at Dream NYC – where the rooms have a lovely glow about them. It took me at least 10 minutes to figure out which switch turned off the ‘soothing’ lights. Felt like I was back in the 70s, less the shag carpet. Nice room nonetheless.
