With a quick turn-around, here is a Quicktime video of our house as it looked over the weekend during the Grant Park Candlelight Tour of Homes. I counted over 109 candles burning at one point – plus a few oil lamp menorahs. Whew! No fires were reported, but there were extinguishers in several handy locations, just in case. First Video
Gotta love the technology – but it still seems odd to have no audio. Kinda like a silent movie. Anywho, here is the very first video of our baby, the advanced ultrasound taken at twenty weeks. The little one passed with flying colors, and you can count ten fingers – and ten toes! Baby rolls around a bit, moving hands, legs, and generally just looks like a perfect little one! In 2003, I was asked on the spur of the moment to appear on CNN Headline News to talk about the launch of the annual Sports Illustrated Swimsuit site on SI.com. I was most nervous, natch, but managed to survive. As did the site’s servers that day, despite millions of visitors. Click here for the video (9MB Quicktime).
Video: Artful Persuasion
Here is a video documenting the final preparations and opening night of my mom’s Artful Persuasion show at The Telfair Academy of Arts & Sciences in Savannah, GA. The show featured filled the museum with prints from the personal collection of my Mom, Rita Trotz, collected over the course of 60+ years. The prints provided a comprehensive overview of poster art, beginning with items from the early 1800s, and continuing through the present day. The video includes an overview of the art of the poster and communication as told through the examples in my Mom’s collection.
