Well, it happened again. Unlike last time the sparking power lines outside our house didn’t result in any fried electronics – that I’ve spotted yet. But in a similar fashion, I was sitting at my desk and heard a popping noise outside, looked and saw our powerlines across the street jumping around. There’s no wind tonight, so I couldn’t figure it out – suspected a car might have hit a pole down the street or something. Well, it was a large oak branch that fell down the street, and our lines did an impromptu fireworks show for us. Thankfully, nothing was hit other than the power lines, and we kept power throughout.
