Joel and Rachel were the usual hosts with the most this past Memorial Day. I don’t think I’ve had a cocktail that early in the day in a long time. Or was that a high-gravity beer? I can’t remember now. But we had an awesome time as usual. And got some terribly cute photos of Mira and Noah hanging out, too.

Super Bowl in the City
With meetings on both Friday afternoon and early Monday morning, I negotiated with Amy and ended up spending the weekend there. That gave me a great opportunity to catch up with cousin Miriam & Steven and their twins (Chella and Grey above), as well as other friends like Erin and Christopher (and Lilly) as well as Hart and his wife Cella. Lots of c/hellas, who wouda thunk? It was a fun weekend – even if it meant being away from the family. The game was not bad either!

What’s a Jew to do on 12/24?
Get together with friends and eat Chinese, of course! Hosted by the Simons, with food fetched by Joel Silverman from what Sam calls ‘that Chinese pancake place,’ otherwise known as Cafe 101 on Buford Highway, it was a fun time to get all the kids together and eat too much.
Noah Meets His People
So Sunday was spent getting to know our new little man. Our friends the Aczels came by with their cute-as-a-button daughter Arden, and Amy’s maid of honor and longtime friend Laura Najarian also dropped in before work yesterday. Noah continues to develop his personality, and seems to be enjoying his first hours on this green earth. Looks like tomorrow will be ‘going home day.’
