Here is a video documenting the final preparations and opening night of my mom’s Artful Persuasion show at The Telfair Academy of Arts & Sciences in Savannah, GA. The show featured filled the museum with prints from my the personal collection of Rita Trotz, collected over the course of 60+ years. The prints provided a comprehensive overview of poster art, beginning with items from the early 1800s, and continuing through the present day. The video includes an overview of the art of the poster and communication as told through the examples in my Mom’s collection.
