Exploding Lava
Do not, do not, repeat DO NOT under any circumstances attempt to 'jump start' your Lava Lamp by heating it on a stove. Mortality may ensue, as with this sad case in Kent, Washington. Unbelievable. LINK (via Boing Boing).
